Lung Rehab - GP information

Lung Rehab is free and tailored for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with lung conditions.

The program offers a supportive and friendly group environment to yarn about health, learn about living well, and move with an exercise program especially tailored for the client. The team works with clients to develop skills to support everyday activities.

The program is delivered by experienced health professionals including:

  • accredited exercise physiologists
  • physiotherapists
  • nurses
  • occupational therapists
  • social health (psychologists and social workers)
  • accredited practicing dietitians
  • pharmacists.

Who to refer

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with conditions including:

  • asthma
  • bronchiectasis
  • chronic cough
  • chronic lung condition
  • chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • emphysema
  • repetitive lung infections
  • shortness of breath.
