I like being part of a Pod team because working as a team, that’s the most important thing.

Dr Caitlin Ruge

I’m a mother of two boys, aged 7 and 2. I’ve lived in Brisbane all my life and dreamed of being a doctor since I was 11. I love working in Indigenous medicine for its variety, complexity, and rich history. Working in the Pod system provides a sense of team that supports every patient engagement.

Meagann Saunders
Medical Receptionist

I’m part of the reception team at the clinic. I identify as Indigenous through my father, George’s side, from the Kamilaroi tribe in Gunnedah, NSW. My knowledge of our heritage is limited due to family loss and trauma, but I’m building connections and learning more to be able to pass it on to my daughter Elsie. If you need any assistance with your health journey, please ask.

Medical Receptionist

I’m a proud Wakka Wakka woman eager to help mob access healthcare. I pride myself in working hard for my team and for my community to ensure they have proper access to culturally sensitive healthcare. Working in the pod system is a great way for my team to be able to ensure Mob are getting great quality of care as well as continuity of care.  I learn more about the Community each day I come to work, and I’m excited to continue to learn and grow within this beautiful Community.
