What is playgroup?

Playgroups at BiOC are run by Deadly Kindies and are an easy-going and relaxed get-together for Mob. Playgroups welcome little ones from 6 weeks to 5 years old, parents, grandparents, and carers. Playgroups offer a wide range of play-based learning experiences, and help in many areas of development.

What to expect at a playgroup?

Weekly playgroups consist of different activities for you and your jarjums to interact with, as well as providing a healthy morning tea for everyone to enjoy. Playgroup can also offer support and guidance in finding culturally safe childcare or kindergarten services, in-home playgroups and support in learning/play environments as well as support in all areas of your child’s development, behaviour and eating concerns. A playgroup leader will make contact with all participants to inform you of the location and time of the weeks playgroup. Please contact your family support practitioner if you are not connected with the playgroup leader or head over to our BiOC South and North pages to find out more.
