Dental Services

The IUIH Network of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Services has over 70 dental professionals, providing adult and child dental services from 10 clinics and 3 dental vans across South East Queensland, helping to meet the oral health needs of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population of the region.
Eligibility

You’re welcome to access our dental services if you identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, or if you are a direct family member of an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person and are a regular client at one of our primary health care clinics.

IUIH Dental Services

No fees for general dental care provided eligibility criteria are met. Please bring along to your appointment Centre link concession card, if you are a holder of one.

Services include:

  • routine dental checkups and screening
  • scaling and cleaning
  • fissure sealants and fluoride application  
  • fillings
  • extractions
  • root canal therapy
  • regular recalls and follow up

The following services may be provided on referral to ATSICHS Brisbane Woolloongabba clinic. Please note that fees may apply for laboratory work:

  • dentures and crowns
  • acrylic dentures – no fee for aged pensioners
  • mouth guards and splints
  • specialist referrals
