Disability Support Services – Allied Health
IUIH provides a range of core and capacity-building supports, including support coordination, plan management, allied health, assistance with daily living (including personal care and household tasks), social/community participation and transport.
General information
The Disability Support Services team connects Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to our network of allied health professionals, who can provide therapy under capacity building funding in a NDIS plan, including:
- occupational therapists
- speech pathologists
- exercise physiologists
- dietitians
- social workers
- dietitians
- physiotherapists
- podiatrists.
Locations
Allied Health supports can be provided for across the South East Queensland region.
Referrals
Who to refer
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have:
- a disability
- a NDIS plan
- a need for therapeutic supports for their disability.
