Our Family Wellbeing Service is here to support families to be strong, connected and thriving in a culturally safe and respectful way. We work alongside families to identify what matters most to them and support them to work towards their goals to improve overall wellbeing.
About IUIH’s Family Wellbeing Service
The IUIH Family Wellbeing Service is an early intervention program, integrated with IUIH’s primary health care services, aiming to enhance the resilience, connectedness and social/emotional wellbeing of children and young people and helping to build strong and resilient families.

The Moreton ATSICHS Family Wellbeing Service walks alongside families and communities to support them to be strong and resilient.
Our service provides culturally safe case management support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.

Who to refer
- Parents and caregivers and their kids who have multiple, complex needs (e.g. parenting, social and emotional wellbeing issues, housing, Centrelink, legal issues etc.) who would benefit from a culturally safe service
- At least one member of the family who identifies as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
- Consent from the family to complete an FWS referral
- Families who have a child/children under 18, including those unborn (if unborn, you must have the pregnant woman’s consent)
- Residing in the Moreton Bay region.
How to refer
Moreton ATSICHS Family Wellbeing Service accepts IUIH Network, external and self-referrals.

- Add patient to the email
- Find the Family Wellbeing Service Template in “letter templates” – *Referral – FWS MATSICHS
- Complete online referral form
- Send referral to “MATSICHS Referral – Family Wellbeing Service (MATSICHS FWS)
