Celebrating 50 years of NAIDOC 🖤💛❤️💚💙

This month, we came together to celebrate 50 years of NAIDOC – honouring the strength, resilience and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

From community events and cultural activities to opportunities for connection and reflection, it was a powerful week acknowledging our shared histories and affirming our vision for a future where culture leads and young ones grow up proud.

Our NAIDOC Week celebrations began on 3 July 2026 with the Caboolture Flag Raising Ceremony and continued throughout the week as we joined Community at events across South East Queensland, including Logan, the Gold Coast, Wynnum, Inala, Zillmere and Musgrave Park.

Last week Moreton ATSICHS proudly hosted its second Family Fun Day on Saturday at Petrie. It was a fantastic opportunity to come together and connect with local services, celebrate culture and enjoy a day of fun and connection.

The 2026 Triple A Brisbane NAIDOC Ball rounded out the week’s festivities with IUIH Chairperson Kieran Chilcott delivering the opening address.
