The IUIH Network Knowledge and Research Centre exists to enable and enhance service delivery through reflective, considered, and relational research. We are here to grow a research workforce, build sustainable systems, and lead with community-first governance.
Our purpose is to:
- Honour and amplify community voices
- Support ethical, purpose-driven research
- Influence data governance to reflect Indigenous values
- Build a unified, self-sustaining research network
- Lead with accountability, transparency, and relational integrity
- Serve the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Communities of South East Queensland

To support better health outcomes, research happens across the IUIH Network.
ATSICHS Brisbane Research
All research conducted by ATSICHS Brisbane, either independently or with partner organisations, is culturally respectful, guided by Indigenous researchers and community members, and carried out in accordance with ethical standards.
Kalwun
All research conducted by Kalwun, either independently or with partner organisations, is culturally respectful, guided by Indigenous researchers and community members, and carried out in accordance with ethical standards.
Yulu-Burri-Ba

BiOC DIFFERENCE Project
To achieve this, the aim of the DIFFERENCE project is to create a digital system that connects primary and secondary healthcare information.
BiOC the LEWIS Study
This research project will evaluate clinical outcomes, sustainability, scalability, feasibility, acceptability and impact of BiOC in four urban settings.
BiOC Deadly Fit Mums Project
Through this research project, we will assess the impact of the Deadly Fit Mums (DFM) program.
