Screen sharing (three methods)

Sharing content to the room TV screens

Method 1—screen cast

With your laptop logged in, press the Windows key and the letter K.

In the Cast windows that appears in the bottom right corner of your screen, click on the Maiwar TV Left or Maiwar TV Right.

After a few seconds your screen should be duplicated to the corresponding TV.

Another staff member may screen cast to the other TV if needed.

Once you are sharing your screen, you can now use the TV as a second display if required.

Press the Windows Key and the letter P, then choose the Extend option.

To finish screen sharing, press Windows + K again, and click on the Disconnect button.

Method 2—screen share dongle

Head to Reception on ground floor and request to sign out the Maiwar Screen Share Dongle.

Step 2

With your laptop logged in, unclip the USB adapter, and plug the USB C connector into your laptop.

After approximately 30 seconds, the button on the dongle should glow green and you should now see your display shared to both TV screens.

This screen sharing method will duplicate your display to both screens by design and cannot be changed.

To stop sharing, press the green button, then unplug the dongle from your laptop.

Method 3—Teams screen sharing

Start a teams meeting and invite yourself to the room as per Starting Teams meetings.

Once in the Teams meeting, press the Share button in the top right corner of the meeting window.

Choose your Screen, or a single window (i.e. Chrome, PowerPoint, …).
