About IUIH’s Disability Services
The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) is a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) service provider. IUIH’s disability support services provide a comprehensive range of core and capacity-building supports. Our services include support coordination, allied health, assistance with daily living (personal care and household tasks), social/community participation, and transport.
As a registered NDIS service provider, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of our clients and community by offering support that aligns with their choices and needs. Our goal is to empower individuals to access services and supports that improve their quality of life.
Mission statement
The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) is committed to advancing the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with disability, and their families, carers and kin, in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples.
We pursue this through individual and systemic advocacy; culturally safe, integrated health, wellbeing and community support services; upholding self-determination and community control, equality and non-discrimination.

Our allied health professionals support people with disability to build confidence, improve daily living skills and achieve their goals.

Building NDIS knowledge through community education and accessible resources.
Access
Our access pathways help individuals and families connect with NDIS, disability and early childhood supports.
