The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) is a leading, regional not-for-profit provider of health and wellbeing services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in South East Queensland. You will be part of our unique IUIH System of Care focussed on improving the health, wellbeing and economic independence of our community.
IUIH was established in 2009, and is the regional backbone of a number for a network of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Controlled Health Organisations delivering health, social and wellbeing services across South East Queensland.
Across our network, our model of care provides holistic health and wellbeing services to support our Community across their lifespan. We bring together primary care, allied health, dental, mental health and wellbeing, maternity and early childhood, disability services, specialist services, and aged care as one team focused on clients’ individual needs and goals.
From patient transport drivers and community liaison officers to GPs and allied health professionals, we are an integrated team working together to improve the health and wellbeing of our Community.
